I am a native Portlander, born and raised in Tigard. I have been a licensed Real Estate Broker for over 16 years. I started in Raleigh Hills and eventually made my way to the East Side. I remember looking at houses in Irvington for $75,000! It is hard to believe that even in my lifetime things have changed so much. My passion for homes and people led me to this rewarding industry. I opened Vintage Real Estate in 2002 and strategically located it in North Portland- highest appreciating neighborhood in the city. I moved all of my investments to this neighborhood, moved my family here, and now also give back to this community. I am the treasurer of the Historic Mississippi Business Association and keep a close eye on the new developments in the area. It is such a supportive community and truly I have never had such great neighbors! My husband and I have 3 teenage boys that are going to public school here in the inner city. My real passion is older homes. I grew up in houses built in the early 1900’s and watched my mom fix them up over the years just to make a couple extra dollars. I wish she would have kept a few! She taught me at a very young age that hard work and dedication pays off. My husband also owns his own business restoring old homes back to their original yet more stylish states. Mobile Where is my picture? I get no respect around here! I am the all around hustle guy for this company. Who runs NoPoHome.com? Who runs this site? Who gets the coffee? Who paints the fence? Who sands the floor? I was born and raised in New Jersey. Moved out of there to go to college and ended up in Portland. Been here since 1995 (excepting some time in San Franciso). Relatively speaking, I've been here a while. I can regale you with stories about the 90's in Portland with a slight New Jersey accent. Charming! Sadly, I will probably bore you by identifying too many plants. I'll get really focused on different flooring materials and their pro's and con's.
